Torchlight Parade
Egremont's Annual Torchlight Parade is held on the last Sunday of November each year.
In previous years the event has started early afternoon and the Torchlight Parade held late afternoon after which the Egremont Christmas Lights have been switched on, a Christmas Market held selling traditional gifts and many other attractions organised around town and in the Market Hall.
Last year there was a fantastic Fireworks display from the ruins of the Town's Norman Castle and local bands and School Choirs entertained everyone.
The format does change each year and it is wise to check nearer to the event time.
